This is why at The Champions Mindset, I focus on mental conditioning for athletes and teams to help them achieve their true greatness.

Over the past 18 years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with individual athletes and sports teams, helping them smash through what they once thought were impossible goals. Many of the coaches and families I’ve worked with have come to refer to me as their “secret weapon.” I’ve developed a five-part strategy designed to remove limiting beliefs (and yes, we all have them), and once cleared, I’ve seen a 100% success rate in achieving extraordinary results. That’s right—every athlete who has embraced these mindset tools has seen incredible outcomes.

A U22 Women’s Basketball Team that was sitting 5th halfway through the season went on to win every game, eventually clinching the State Championship in extra time.

A swimmer, after only two sessions with me, competed in a state championship and entered eight events. She came home with eight gold medals, six personal bests, and shaved six seconds off her 200-meter individual medley.

A basketball player who broke her arm in three places was told she might never play again. After working with me, she was back on the court in just three months.

A Varsity Men’s Basketball Team, having lost their star players due to graduation, was struggling with self-belief and consistently losing games. After mindset training with me, they won their conference title, facing a team that had beaten them twice during the season and thrashing them by 30 points.

Overview of Coaching Sessions

Session 1

  • Laying the foundation for “Your Ultimate Success Mindset.”
  • Success leaves clues.
  • Identifying and breaking free of negative boxes, labels, and self-imposed barriers.
  • Identifying and releasing conscious and unconscious limiting beliefs, sabotage patterns etc…
  • Identifying and erasing the “pink elephant” in the room.
  • Understanding where your inner critic and negative self-talk came from.
  • Learning how to silence your inner critic and negative self-talk and replace it with your own cheer squad.
  • Identifying your preferred learning styles to ensure your coaches communicate with you in your preferred style.
  • Creating new neural pathways so you can start telling yourself a brand new story. The stories you tell yourself and believe are driving your current results.
  • The simple technique to immediately erase disappointment when you stuff up so you can get back to being 100% present in your game/race/event.

Session 2

  • Debrief Session One.
  • Identifying your preferred learning styles to ensure your coaches communicate with you in your preferred styles.
  • Your mind is like “prime real estate.” Are you tapping into its true potential? Or are you under-valuing it? Most people are.
  • How to fully utilize the power of your mind.
  • Learning to visualize in your preferred learning styles (not everyone visualizes the same)
  • Positive and negative. What are they? And how to take control and collapse negative ones and stack positive ones.
  • Creating your Power Move.
  • The importance of rituals.

Session 3

  • Debrief Session Two.
  • Daily rituals for success.
  • Writing your script for your optimal outcome. Kathryn to read and tweak each player and coach's script.
  • Mindfulness/meditation.
  • Affirmations–you’re always affirming. Take charge and affirm what you want versus what you don’t want.
  • Letter from the future.
  • Vision boards.
  • Subliminal messages, mind movies, etc…
  • Creating your Circle of Excellence (positive anchor to music) to set off on game/race/event day.
  • How to future pace for continued success.
